It really feels great to be able to strike out one more item off our list! :D

We have also visited our the first pair of our principal sponsors again, Mr. and Mrs. Federico Hermoso, we visited their house over at Pandacan to formally invite them to be our ninang and ninong. Of course they were delighted! It was a very pleasan visit :)

Next we visited Nancy Oxales, which we fondly call Aling Nancy. She has been a very close friend of the family. I was really excited when she agreed to be our ninang, when we got to her house (which is just a stone's throw away from ours), she gave us Royal and indian mangoes to eat. A little odd at first but hey, I love indian mangoes and I love Royal!!

Over-all it was a beutiful day...tomorrow... Easter Sunday!! Hope everyone have a very happy Easter to all!!

Something not related to my wedding - Again

I've stumbled on this internet site and decided to take the test..The results were pretty amazing :)

Ultimate Personality Test

Analie, you're a Millionaire!

Image hosted by Photobucket.comYour personality is actually determined by two personality sub-types - your primary, or dominant sub-type, and your secondary sub-type. You are a Millionaire which means you are a Success / Thinker Your primary sub-type is defined by "Success" characteristics and your secondary sub-type is defined by "Thinker" characteristics.

That means you're very ambitious and personable, and you've got a great sense of humor. Chances are you care a lot about how you look. You're bursting with self-confidence, and people admire you for your achievements and determination.

Tickle's Original Inkblot Test

Analie, your subconscious mind is driven most by Sexuality

Image hosted by Photobucket.comThe world is a sexy place for you — your erotic self leads the way. Whether this is because you're presently in a great physical relationship or simply want one, you are much more aware of the sexual undertones in situations than most people.

This heightened focus, coupled with your vivid imagination, can make you more likely to have original — at times risqué — interpretations of things that other people might see as innocuous.

Your subconscious is telling you that you are very much alive, and have a great deal of passion to bring to life.

Come on guys try this site Web Tickle

Cake Topper

Wow look at these pics I found on the net! Absolutely gorgeous and totally different!! They are actually swarovski-covered monogram cake toppers. I'm not sure if the actual monogram is made of metal, or maybe its plastic, or maybe even cardboard. I like it soo much!! As the usual cake toppers for wedding cakes are either ceramic couples or flowers, this is totally out of the box... and I looove it!!

Ok relax, hehehe i'm hyperventilating. I wonder how wedding planning will be without the internet! Now I have to find a way how to DIY this project coz ordering this from the US is out of the question. I'll have to visit Quiapo or Divi for the raw materials of course. I'm already thinking of using cardboards for the base monogram which I can spray paint gold or silver. I can even use this on table numbers!! Hmm... but my initial plan on tables is to use table names instead of table numbers...hmmm choices choices... what do you think?

The Choice

I'm soo excited. I visited Joel last Wednesday! He gave me four sketches, all of which I really like! Now I can't seem to decide which one to choose!! Ok here are my choices:

First Choice
This is his fourth sketch, he was even finishing it when we arrived at his office. I like the construction of this one, I particularly love the sweetheart neckline.

Second Choice
This one I like because of the runching on the chest and the cascading flower details. I also really like this one.

Third Choice
I like the chest area of this one.

Fourth Choice
I like the back of this one.

We also got to talk about the cord I liked, which was made of pearls. I saw a sample when I went to his booth last weekend at the NBC tent wedding expo. It was exactly what I like and at a very reasonable cost!! I was originally thinking to DIY this but good thing he has it. Saves me time and effort.

I also got the sketches for the entourage gowns from Ofelia Villanueva.

Maid of Honor

Secondary Sponsors

Bridesmaids

The sketches for the flower girls and the Mother's gowns are not yet finished though. Still have to work on that. Will try to finalize that before the end of the month.

Entourage gowns will start production in April, while my gown will start around May or June.

Wedding Updates!!!

We just got home from NBC Bridal fair and I must say I am pretty proud of our accomplishments today. We wanted to be there really early so we can go around the booths with ease but unfortunately; I forgot our “baon”… I left our money in my car so we had to go back to our house. Luckily traffic was not that bad and at about 11am, we were already at the registration table. We started going around looking for the things we said we needed. I felt we were not accomplishing anything after about 1 hour of walking around… I just felt Gel was not with me! His mind was wandering off!! Men! When I started confronting him the real reason surfaced… he was hungry! Grrr!!! I needed to go and meet my classmates in UP for a project anyways so we went out and grab a bite at the nearby Zong and agreed we will just have to go back later in the afternoon after my meeting. We also agreed that he would look at all the fliers we got earlier and study them so that we will have more focus when we return. Sounds like a plan to me! Fast forward to about 6pm we were again on our way to The Fort. This time Gel was really making all the plans, he already decided that we will book Sentimental Groove for our musicians, Matus Jewelry for our rings and Jody Liwanag for our Coordinator. I was really amazed! I spent the last 2 months thinking whom among all of my short listed suppliers I will book but he, it took him only about 3 hours to decide!!! I couldn’t be happier!!

Anyways as I was saying, when we returned to the Fort, we went straight to Matus Jewelry and looked at their sample rings again. We previously decided that we would not have matching rings since I want diamonds(!!) on mine while he want only a plain wedding ring. I ordered a yellow gold ring with seven 0.07-carat princess cut diamonds. I sooo love it!! Plus I got it at a 15% discount… 10% regular discount and 5% additional because I am a W@Wie!! Yey!!!

Next stop, Jody Liwanag. I have known Jody because of W@W; she has always gotten a good to excellent ratings from W@Wies with whom she has previously worked with. I have been a member of W@W for about a year now and I must say that I have not heard any bad feedback on her. I also heard that she’s really organized and knows very well what she was doing. Plus I really felt comfortable and at ease talking with her.

Last stop… Sentimental Groove. I have previously posted here that I want to get the three guys that were also under the Sentimental Groove umbrella. But after some thought with Gel, we decided to get Sentimental Groove instead of the three guys because they have more experience in terms of performing in weddings and that they’d be more reliable in general plus they are very flexible on what they can do.

And did I tell you that I also saw Joel Bautista there? And guess what, his assistant is a previous schoolmate when I was in High school! What a coincidence! But a good coincidence of course!

Haaay… over-all it was a tiring and looong day… but I feel happy coz everything is taking shape now…. Its not just plans anymore, it is slowly becoming a reality.

Six months more and all of these preps would finally come to an end and I’d be married to my best friend.
